The Pierrotters

Since 1983 The Pierrotters have provided riotous family entertainment to audiences up and down Britain’s balmy coast. Totally unique, and utterly mobile, The Pierrotters brought their unique mixture of acapella songs, sweet ballads, musical hall routines and rock’n’roll to fun and sun seekers in a truly contemporary style!

Fully clad in white satin and black pom-poms, The Pierrotters tantalised people to titters and teased them to tears as they lay in their deckchairs and drank tea or supped beers. They could be seen at any outdoor event, festival, club, hotel, homes for the elderly, music hall, civic function or end of the pier show.
Having toured every summer for over a quarter of a century, The Pierrotters are currently resting their pom-poms and are not taking any bookings, except by special request.  In the meantime, feel free to have a gander at these little snippets of the Rotters in action!

The Pier-Echoes

The Pier-Echoes was a Pierrot troupe founded in Summer 2010 and made up of four emerging artists. Promenade Promotions’ Tony Lidington teamed up with Dr.Jane Milling of the University of Exeter’s drama department for a Arts & Humanities Research Council (AHRC) research project, “Revitalising the Prom”, where a new Pierrot troupe would perform on the proms, piers and park benches of the English Riviera. The Echoes were featured on BBC Radio Devon, BBC Spotlight and filmed an episode for BBC 2′s “The Edwardian Farm”.
