Prom-Prom to create 21st Century interpretation of 18th Century Peepshow
April 18, 2014
Promenade Promotions received a Grants For the Arts Award to create a 21st Century interpretation of the 18th century itinerant artform of the peepshow. We are collaborating with The Bill Douglas Cinema Museum, the Northcott Theatre, Exeter University and a range of regional artists to create a touring show based on Hogarth’s ‘Rake’s Progress’ entitled ‘The Banker’s Progress’. We shall be showcasing the work in September at Exeter Unexpected and Saltaire Festivals.
