“Bradford – The Musical” was a community project delivered by Promenade Promotions in 2005 to launch the Bradford Mela and festival. More than 150 singers, 20 dancers & 20 African & Asian drummers worked together on specially commissioned music by local composers as a celebration of the city’s multiculturalism and in response to Lord Ousley’s report on the Bradford Riots of 2001.
